The IEEE Honors Ceremony (2008)
IEEE Sections Congress 2008 is a triennial gathering of section leadership sponsored by the Member and Geographic Activities
Board. It is the only major IEEE meeting that convenes the IEEE's grassroots leadership to share ideas, concerns, and solutions.
The annual Honors Ceremony, considered to be IEEE's most prestigious event, recognizes exceptional contributions that
have made a lasting impact on technology, society and the engineering profession. The program honors achievements in industry,
research, education and service. There were be 22 Institute-level award recipients recognized at the 2008 IEEE Honors Ceremony.
